Discover the Powerful Connection Between Body, Mind and Voice

No experience needed, just a willingness to feel good, and at least, a speaking voice.

Body & Mind Workshops

Running since 2013 as part of the Singing4Health activities, Body & Mind workshops explore the profound connection between body and mind — and how nurturing that connection supports better health, focus, and a greater enjoyment of life.

Each session weaves together gentle movement, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques with simple, uplifting singing. There is no requirement for musical experience. The emphasis is firmly on feeling good, and performing in public is never expected.

Every session includes

  • Gentle movement & stretching
  • Breathing & relaxation techniques
  • Simple, uplifting group singing
  • A warm, inclusive atmosphere

You Don’t Need To Be A Singer

These workshops are designed for everyone — regardless of age, ability, or musical background. Whether you have never sung a note in your life or simply feel self-conscious, you will be welcomed warmly. The focus is not on performance, but on the joy of the voice and the calm it can bring.

Positive Voices & the Bloomsbury Choir

As Musical Director of Positive Voices, a choir created for people living with HIV by the Bloomsbury Clinic Patients Association (London), this pioneering project later grew into the Bloomsbury Choir.

This unique initiative showed, beautifully, how group singing could go far beyond music. Members built genuine confidence, forged meaningful connections, and supported one another’s wellbeing — all through the shared power of their voices. As featured in The Guardian2013.
My sessions are inclusive, engaging, and grounded in the belief that creativity is an essential part of health.

Inclusive, Engaging & Grounded in Creativity

Every session is built on the belief that creativity is an essential part of health. No matter the setting — a hospital ward, a community hall, or a supported living space — sessions are shaped around the people in the room, honouring their abilities, needs, and stories.
